Cookie Policy - ProcureDC

Last updated: 18 October 2026

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit our website. Browser storage (local storage and session storage) works in a similar way. We use both only to keep you signed in, to protect the platform, and to remember choices you make on it.

2. Cookies We Use

  • Sign-in Cookies: Set by our sign-in provider, Clerk, to keep you signed in and to check that requests come from you. Their names begin with __session, __refresh, __client or __clerk, and they last from a few seconds up to a year.
  • Security Cookies: Set by Cloudflare, which protects Clerk's sign-in service, to tell people from automated traffic. They are named __cf_bm and _cfuvid, and last from the end of your visit up to 30 minutes.
  • Sidebar Cookie: One cookie, sidebar_state, remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open. It lasts 7 days.

3. Browser Storage We Use

  • Sign-in Settings: Clerk keeps its own configuration in local storage so the sign-in screen loads quickly.
  • Your Display Choices: Whether you have collapsed a panel or switched a view on the dashboard.
  • Drafts: Evaluation and best and final offer forms you are filling in, so you do not lose your work, and whether you have dismissed a PQQ update notice.
  • Supplier Search: Your progress through the find suppliers brief, kept in session storage and cleared when you close the tab.

This information stays in your browser. We do not use it to track you.

4. No Analytics or Advertising

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not use any analytics or advertising providers. Because every cookie and item of storage above is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, or keeps a choice you make on it, we do not ask for consent and do not show a cookie banner. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Clerk and Cloudflare set the sign-in and security cookies above on our behalf. When you pay an invoice or buy an add-on, you do so on Stripe's own payment pages, where Stripe may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

6. Managing Cookies

You can view and delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. If you block or delete the sign-in cookies, you will be signed out and will not be able to use the dashboard.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continued use of our platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
